[Myth]

Wow, such a huge piece! And very vivid, beautiful colors. My only complaint is the crystals on the dragon's head are a bit murky looking. Some even look blurry. Sharper, cleaner crystals would have made this a 5/5 for me.

Thank you so much for your words, and yes, I agree. For some reason I thought that smudging them out would be a good idea at the time, but wouldn't do it again if I were to rework the image.

[Figure in Fog]

This looks creepy as hell. Some kid of ritual circle, surrounded by totems, in a dark foggy forest! The woman stands out just a bit more than her immediate surroundings, but you've used light and shadow very well to direct our eyes where they need to go to understand the context.

[Scarier Than Slender]

Slender's scared of Batman? Heh, who knew!

Piece sort of looks like it's been done in Flash 8 plus a blur tool. I find myself wanting sharper contrast at those edges and somewhat thinner lines. Nevertheless, nice work. :)

[Oil rig]

Very rarely have I ever seen a pixel piece capture so aesthetically and vividly a subject. Nice work on the light reflections in the waves, in particular.

[Creepy Doll]

I found myself wanting sharper detail in the hair, seeing the fine lines in the doll's face. Hair is one of those things I really focus in on, too. You've done a wonderful job with color and light, though. Great work!

As mentioned already, groom's head is huge in the final panel. Otherwise, this piece brings back memories. Great storyboarding. Easy to understand what's going on.

[Daft Punk Headbanging]

Absolutely smooth, quality stuff. Also looks like ya boy got quarian hands at first glance.

['Automaton Quest']

This animation is really cute. Reminds me of working with flash 8. Only reason I didn't rate higher, the Robot Day logo isn't animated very smoothly. Granted, I know, fizzling electricity and sparks are hard to animate and have look pretty.

Thanks ADR!, I agree, with some more perspective on the world of 2d animated effects, there can be so much more going on on an effect like that one. Also, now that you mention it, even if I use a newer version, I still think Flash 8 included most of what I use anyway!

[T-rex]

Great for practice. Only complaint, femur looks too short, perhaps stuck between a head on -- but then it should probably look wider. I dunno. Either way, what grabbed me is the coloration. Looks like some of the old school books we would read back in the day -- 2000's, but they were from the 80's because our schools were broke. I always loved this style.
