[Utopia to Ashes (Full Song)]

Hey! Thanks for popping in on my R4R post.

This sounds like a good videogame theme. I like the multiple movements going on. It's not just mindlessly repetitive. I do feel like the percussion at 50 seconds or so overwhelmed the rest of the composition for a bit.

Interesting, I've been hearing more and more people use LMMS as a way of getting different ideas out. Seems viable. Although at points there's a little distortion or clipping on your samples.

I'm definitely interested to hear what else you put out. This has been a melodic journey, even if a bit lo-fi. Your chord structures and song structure in general are strong, with a very strong outro. Left me wanting more.

Omg, this takes me back to my childhood. I remember playing this in something like 2000. It's lit. Imo a bit overcompressed but still listenable.

[F-777 - Flower Bazooka]

Chord progression is sweet. Build is satisfying. Watch those mids on your plinky stabs though!

Overall, a joy to my ears.

Just waiting now on that electric guitar GearWax mentioned to come in andddddddd... At 2:20 I'm wondering if I've missed it or if I'm hallucinating. Oh there it is, 2:40-ish. Doesn't sound organic, but it's indeed working. Could use more of it actually. I was expecting a solo with it. Now THAT would be brave!

Throw those strings in the lake. Keep the rest. And maybe don't compress the ass off the song while we're at it. Good composition otherwise.

Thanks! But its 8 years old now so personally I think a lot more than the strings and compression would need changing, should I ever revisit this. But I probably never will.

[Evil-Dog - Fuck Old Times]

Auld Lang Syne and it actually sounds happy. I've played this song more times than I can count in band. They sung it at my graduation, and they played it at my dad's funeral. Then they sung it again at Mass Choir. You do it justice.

The only thing that could make this better is a bit more volume on those drums. They're not cutting through as cleanly as they could.

I'm a sucker for drop C. Very smooth riffs and a face melting solo. What more can I ask for?

Well, drums are kinda hanging out in the periphery of the mix. Would love a stronger presence with that kick and snare. Beautiful composition otherwise. I'd like to know what sort of structure you usually use.

Haven't messed with the drum mix for a bit but you're right, kick/snare could definitely be bigger, will have to look into it!

[Council of the Immortals -full album-]

Listened on Bandcamp because I'm a sucker for time stamps and I get very impatient and skippy. Track 4 is my favorite, with 6 a close second. Actually, tie that with 8. The titular 10 is another gem, like a sunset drive. 11 was a satisfying resolution to the album, nice and breathy. Super trippy. Wish I could save that one to a playlist of its own.

Overall, I felt the other tracks were passable and of good quality, but the tracks I listed would be the ones that made it into my archive. Personally, I do prefer Sunset Rider to this album, if only barely. I do praise your consistent, precise mixing.

[DOOM (Theme song)]

Quite a bit different than the DOOM theme I recognize, but certainly thematically appropriate. Same problem as some of your other recordings. Very loud. Very distorted, pretty dirty.
