It's ok...

I played this in band and I know it forwards and backwards. Your rythm is way off and the notes are held for WAY too long. I suggest you do a lot of revisions... This is way too off beat.

ShortMonkey responds:

Thanks for the review. It's not supposed to sound exactly like the original song... supposed to sound quite different actually, I just wanted the main riffs to be in there. It needs to have some "ShortMonkey" on it. ;)

Sweet!

The only reason I'm not giving a ten is because of a lot of in harmonies on the bass's part. It just detaches me from it, but maybe that's what you wanted to have. Still, I give my 5/5 to you.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Indeed. I always love to have the bass playing a seperated line from the guitars. I think it sounds a lot more complex then, rather than playing single notes along with the rhythm guitar. :)

Thanks for checking and thanks for da 5!

Nice

Pretty good, but punk is really your thing. I think you should stick with Punk, and try metal maybe. Your recent stuff sounds more reminiscent of metal to me. Yes, I did see the date. I give you an eight for effort and the year, lol.

Evil-Dog responds:

I would delete the piece right away but I can't ....someone used it....*sobs*

Too repetitive...

Nice lyrics, but you repeated some lyrics way too many times. If you didn't repeat "Chillen in the Burbs" so much, I'd 10 it. I'm gettin' down to this.

J-Kellz responds:

thanks a lot dude, ya its understandable how u feel, its the hook tho, if u sing a long it wont seem as repetitive

Sweet

I recognize a lot of this from a program, but I have to say, pretty sweet. :)

Jesus-Owns-X responds:

Thanks

Nice

I recognize some of the guitar from Mixcraft, but I do see where you added some awesome harmonics too. Good job, just needs EQ'ing and compression.

Jesus-Owns-X responds:

Thanks!

Nice, but it doesn't flow well

The bass doesn't flow that well. Good job :) You might want to do some compression and EQ'ing

Jesus-Owns-X responds:

Thanks for the review and I'll make sure to get on that ;)

Nice job

Sounds a little freaky, but that's what I like about it. What program did you use? =) Something that might help is not using as much flanger on it in places (it sounds like you did).

Maahes responds:

Lol yeah, I used the Flanger plenty of times. I used FL Studio 7 by the way, and all my songs are usually freaky, that's just my style, this was just actually very experimental by the way. Thanks for the feedback. ^^

Nice, sounds sad

Less drums at the beginning, and distortion on the bass would be good. Great start for a beginner, needs mastering though. You'll do great later on.

ZaineSarruke responds:

i would like to add effects to mmy stuff but all i could find up to date software wise is midi programs : /

Sweet!

Heavy and a little sad, I also hear a hint of something that reminds me of Bob Marley and the beach for some reason... I hear a little clipping, but that could just be the drums, which by the way could be amped up a little. Also, if you used a flanger on this, try to lay off of it a little. Maybe a little less feed-back

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks. Haha, Bob Marley. Cool. Yeah, I had to mix this on my headphones, which are shitty to say the least. haha. But now that I listen to this on my surround, I hear lots of yucky shit. Volume on the drums, volume on the dist, but I'll have those all fixed for my new stuff.

Thanks again for another review/vote!\m/
